Merauke Qaboos is an oil that has already been made famous by many and sold under various different names. It has undoubtedly been an ambassador for the Qaboosi oud oils. An oil with such an age and story like this cannot be truly defined in terms of region and distillation. 

What we do know is, it was distilled approximately 30 years ago for Sultan Qaboos of Oman, a legend in oud history, whose collection and eye for oud can only be truly appreciated today. Much mystery surrounds its origins and the remarkable journey through which it has come to the common oud lover. 

A legend like this cannot simply be repeated nor is it is in abundant supply, the last we heard it is almost on its way out, off to the shrouded collections of veteran collectors and perfumers. With a unique and mysterious opening and a special captivating sweet drydown, this is undoubtedly one of the special finds in the last few years and it is our pleasure to bring this unique oil to you at this festive time of year.
